Got it done Sunday morning. We had one game cam pic of this old 8 back in the summer and I told myself if I saw him during season I  might just take him. Well now we see that might turned in to “did”! After seeing a lot of mature 8 points the first few weeks of season we talked about needing to get rid of some of them so I did my part and although not a trophy score wise he is a trophy in my book. Wide, nice eye guards, heavy, and mature. Now I’ll probably see a swamp donkey next time I go out to the stand but if so the Nikon will get him.
